For eternity and a day. I really don't know, but it was under the guise of metacreations at the time. Bryce 3D maybe?

Bryce was only a Mac treat while I drooled to have it and playing with VistaPro 1 waiting for it to come over to PC. When it did, it was a total shambles with constant crashes and very little support. This made me quite irate having spend good money on software that wasnt worth a cork. I fired off scorching letters and trampled all over the forums to be heard until they excommunicated me for not condescending and sucking down my loss. Apparently the same was happening to a great many people for a few months later they came out with a free upgrade and a free content CD to make up for all the anguish and bad feelings. So Ive had Bryce since it first came over to PC.

Bryce 3D was my first, that was about 5 or 6 years ago. I expected to be using version 8 or 9 by now. WHHHINE

I started with bryce 2, which I got as a mag cover copy. Not sure how long ago that was, but I have only really used it since getting internet access about 7 years ago, and could find tutorials.

19 y/o, been brycing for over 7 years now. Been using Amapi for 'bout 3 or 4 years, Mojoworlding for 'bout a year and a half and 3dsmaxing for.. 3-4 weeks? something like that..
I might one day end up saying "I have used bryce 8 years" though 'cause bryce is seriously starting to fall behind on my other software.

Seven years of Bryce, two years of Imagine before that, one year of Turbo Silver before that, one year of Silver before that, Deluxe Paint before that. :^)

Since '98, when a 15-year-old whiz kid built a system for me and installed Bryce 2 on my first-ever computer. I was a total noob in all areas of computing. The renders had the pesky habit of putting a "Metacreations" logo all across them, so he told me he had a "patch" for that, and, sure enough, that cured it. I had my new machine for about six months when I finally got internet, which was a whole new world. I then learned about pirated software and realized my copy of Bryce was illegal. So I went to Best Buy and bought Bryce 3D, which hadn't been out long at the time. The rest is history.

My 1st graphics programs I used were more then 10 years away I think, I programmed them myself in Qbasic on an old 80386, just simple algorythms creating some nice visual effects on screen. I later also started drawing in mspain(t) lol I guess started digital graphics at realy early age, waay before my 1st copy of bryce 2.
