If you've never been to a fry's you're missing something. They sell EVERYTHING...if it has a plug or needs a battery they sell it. And they all have some odd interior theme I've been in one that was kind of space/space shuttle, another that was greek/roman ruins, another that was kind of old west. seems I remember an egytian one too. Mind boggling places...

We have FRY'S ELECTRONICS here too, but I have never seen Bryce 5 there.

jelisa posted Sat, 05 March 2005 at 10:59 PM

Saw it at the Fry's here in League City a couple of weeks ago ... was so cool to see it there.

Fry's is amazing. The one closest to me is massive. (They're not all the same size) Mine has the crashed spce ship theme. If its electronic, they have it. But, a lot of their space is committed to computing. One Fry's I'm dying to go to apparently has a 10,000 gallon aqaurium with sharks. There are also stores with themes on gears, space shuttle, alice in wonderland, etc, etc. I ALWAYS have my camera on me (now that I have one). My friends/family just shake their heads, as they turn to talk to me and see me dangerously hanging off railings to get a pic of that big rust stain going down white stucco, etc, etc. My new cell phone, yes, also has a camera in it (just 1.2 megapixel), but I'm covered, lol. The Fry's by me has a Space Station theme, which is appropriate seeing as how Johnson Space Center is a couple of miles away. Was a bit overwhelming just trying to find anything there though.

Ah, the one in Texas. ;o) Yeah, you have to have a battle plan when going to Fry's, lol. Fry's also has an online outlet; www.outpost.com Great for sale items. AS

Yeah, Texas. There's one in North Houston but I've never been to that one so don't know what the decor is. Not worth an hour's drive to find out. I wandered around for an hour and a half and found a tin of Cashew Roca on the way out ...
