With refference to Doug's freezing the water thread. This time with better light, but not such a good spray. Loch Lomond, usually pretty flat calm, but very windy today Shooting info Canon 10D Fully manual 1/500 f5.6 ISO 100 70-200mm @ 70mm

Hi Simon so you were at Loch Lomond today? Looks you got some good shots despite the wind. Ben Lomond did have snow on it today, here it is from the north east. I've not felt wind like todays' for a long time, you know when it freezes your nose, then pulls the bogies out and then sooks the tears from your eyes? Nasty! still you gotta get the shot eh?

Yes it wasnt really visible from the ground, it was so windy that I abandoned going on to the hill as I was alone.

That was some wind; I couldnt even stand still long enough to get many shots, even to windy for the tripod.

Just upped the shutter speed and shot and hoped, got a few good shots.

Impressive shot, well great if you have the gear (and will power) to get up there in the ice.

Nice one.

At this rate we'll have to give the Bloody Scots' their own sub-forum. Like rabbits, y'know. You don't shoot enough of them they overbreed. At least Hadrian knew what he was doing. (",)

Can't be worse than these border types.... the ones that have a chip on both shoulders, You know...the ones that have to use jumped up Jock has-been football managers to revive their game. AND its not Scotlands fault that the Gurland Rugby team are rid rotten and are on their way to the WOODEN SPOON! In fact I'm off right now to post some more ROB ROY pictures in my Gallery SO THERE!
