Oh yea, and I didn't do any postwork on this other than resizing and framing! No brightness&contrast adjustement no sharpness no unsharp mask nothing! Since I read some of the threads Cyndi gave me links for, I decided to keep the postwork to a minimum and it seems to work just fine! What do u think?

I know...I do it all the time...I am a Big Polluter.....and a Vegan to boot!....also I am a Share Holder in Waste Management ....one Man's Rubbish ...is anothers Gold. ....and...what has God got to do with it?...is He/She a Share Holder too? :] You have done well in Your "Social Issues" salute

"...one Man's Rubbish ...is anothers Gold" so true! And I wish more people were acting this way! To see this makes me so angry!! As for god, I don't think it's a "she" nor a "he" but most likely an "it"! As in the universal spirit! ;) Nor feminine nor masculine but surely both or none! I believe it contains both energies! Anyway, thxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and mwah! :D

Tibby(!), as much as I like Space Raiders those ain't mine..... What I don't understand is why these 'mini-tips' are always about 3/4 mile along the track - I mean, who is dumb enough to carry it that far before dumping it?!? One of the things that REALLY gets my goat (I got her back from earlier) is close to where I live we have a cemetary where they have basically the back end of a truck-sized skip for the rubbish - the dead flowers etc, right at the road side of the cemetary itself. On the other side of the road is a disused railway line. Our Obviously intelligent council DON'T allow anyone to dump rubbish in the cemetary skip, and instead would rather spend MORE money clearing rubbish that has been dumped on the line instead. deleted expletive (",) btw, good pic,imo the sepia toning really works to pull your eyes to the bike frame. What part of the country is this? (Just outta interest?)

Well, this is in a gorge and people dump their rubbish from the top of the cliff! U can find anything down there, from bins to TV, mountains of leaflets and newspapers thrown here by the delivery boys, doors, sinks, bicycles and so on! It's a disgrace!! And this is in Kent Jordy, near London! Thx so much to u all for ur wonderful feedback!! :)

well composed shot pascale, i like the tone too...
biiiig issue! we take care of all our trash... no pick up service in the country... it's recycle & burn baby burn then bury it... sigh
Texas is big on not littering... the "Don't Mess with Texas" & "Adopt A Highway" campaigns, handing out fines... but yet is one of the most polluted states in the nation because of the huge oil refineries off the Gulf Coast

lol! of course we pay our taxes & yes... we burn our own trash... we're waaaaaaaaaay out in the country on our own land, just the way it's done out here... (helps to have a back hoe) course there are some which look like they live in their own dump yards some more great reportage shots pascale! could head up a community clean up day, or write to those responsible? :]
tibet2004uk posted Sun, 06 March 2005 at 12:28 PM
Yea I can easily imagine that!! And to have the pleasure to live wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy out in the country I'd definitely be willing to burn my own trash myself too! U lucky woman! ;) As for the ones responsible, nobody seems to be! I know that woman who wrote about it to the council who told them it wasn't their responsability so she wrote to that other organization who doesn't give a shit, it seems...duno! It's quite hopeless around here really!
cynlee posted Sun, 06 March 2005 at 12:38 PM
