I have noticed that lately we are getting more and more posts in our fractal gallery and as a result pictures "disappear" of the front page very quickly. i recently posted an image. my 1st one for ages and it went to page 2 within an hour or so. I realise this will make me sound like a spoilt brat, but i cant be the only one this has happened to, as many others of equal quality only get 1 or 2 comments b4 they go.

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a gallery for Apo and a separate one for UF and perhaps another one for other fractal progs.

Maybe this is impractical. I dunno. I was just a bit disappointed mine vanished so quick. I apologise for this shameless piece of self promotion. LOL

lol an easier solution would be that you could change the amount of thumbnails in your profile, just like that option which ya have for the market-place, so ppl who love to be on the frontpage can change that to their own benefits, makes it harder to scroll but thats allright good day Harmen

I'm sorry Harmen, i dont understand what you mean. How will changing the number of thumbnails change anything........... are you getting at me, by any chance?

okay well now ya have 18 thumbnails on the first page, 18 on the 2nd, 18 on the 3rd etc etc... when you go to your profile in here, you can change the amount of thumbnails displayed on 1 page ONLY for the marketplace if you would like to be on the first page the whole day, they have to allow you to display more than 18 thumbnails on each page, maybe other people like that too, and so see your incredible image at the first glance they open this fractal gallery we have had discussions of making different galleries of fractals before, and it ended up with nothing, so that's not a solution maybe this option is one first try it's for programmers not so difficult to change that if we all like to have that option, i am member of a very big forum and have set the messages display to 100 each page, so i can scroll faster through the messages when i havent been there for more than a day or 2 smile Harmen

I suppose that if one doesn't post images all that often, one could always post a link to their pic in this forum - if the sheer volume of awesome art swamps yours to the second page too quickly... T.

The gallery can be viewed by genre, which you or anyone can select to view a particular interest of yours. But that obviously means you will not see all gallery uploads when you view your selected genre. Perhaps the 'Hot 20' can be divided into genres as well. The bright side is that there is a growing interest in fractal art! Cheers, Tim

Thats just the prob Tim, i do look at the fractal gallery by genre. As you say (and it IS good that others are growing to love fractaling) but the pictures (all of them) dont stay on the 1st page for very long cos of the volume of posts. I was suggesting that maybe we could have more thumbnails per page so they didnt go off the page so quick. Thanx
