I personally don't have this product, but I was at a friends house because he does, and I wanted to use it. product is: http://www.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=1349 anyways, no matter which mat I apply to the catsuit, it always uses the default one of that type. Note how you can have different transparancies such as the abdomin showing: http://www.daz3d.com/includes/popup.php?file=store/item_file/1349/popup_3.jpg however, no matter which one I do, it always comes out like the one on the far left.

Could be just the Poser 5 memory "feature." P5 tends to retain textures in memory, even when you change them. Try deleting the catsuit, bringing it in again, and applying the new MAT. If that doesn't work, shut down Poser, start it up again, then try the MAT you want.

One mistake I've made is to apply a texture to the wrong object. I find the P5 colour scheme tends to lead to unreadable labels, and it's very easy to have the wrong item selected. Conforming clothes have the same body-part names as the figure, but the materials are very different.

oh, I was doing it to the right figure, but it seems that product
comes with only one trans-map which could explain a lot
