Ok... all those awesome renderings done in Bryce finally convinced me to pick it up at the computer show yesterday. Now what? If you saw my adventuers post... you'll see several buildings which are 3DS files. In poser, I can go to render/materials and change the color/texture map for each material... how do you do that in Bryce... So far I can only assign a single texture to the hole #DS file... there must be a way... I'm hoping to get a quick answer so I don't have to pour through the manual. I want to convert this to Bryce as soon as possible so I can see if I made a good call in shelling out the money for Bryce. Thanks!

You have to ungroup the object after you import it. Then each material will be treated as a seperate object and you can give them seperate materials.

You should not have to ungroup, just CTRL + Left mouse over what you want to select and then texture it the way you want. Spike P.S. I always use obj files.

You can't call it work if you love it... Zen Tambour
