Don't know why I just spent several hours creating these. I have no immeadiate use for them, but I'm sure someone has. I've created 4 basic cartoon/comic balloons for use in Poser, or any 3D program. They're in obj format and easily imported into any program that can read obj. Templates are included. But you'll have to do your own textures ;-) They all have the edges as a different group so you get a nice clean line around them. Have fun, and remember , one week only. James

This is cool, but if you're creating comic art don't render 3d balloons into your scenes. That stuff is always put in later over the finished art. -JH.

I realize that Jeff, but think of this as starting a NEW trend. I'm always looking at breaking tradition where I can ;-) As I said, it was something I have no idea why I even took the time to do. Maybe it'll catch on?. ;-) James

Hmm.. I dunno. Can you imagine finishing a project with all the balloons rendered in the scenes and having to edit the dialog at a later date? These would work great for novelty cards though.

FYI - Paint Shop Pro 7 has about a dozen different balloons in the preset shape library you can use for post processing if your new trend doesn't work out.
