Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 27 5:12 pm)
Thanks KingFisher
Wow it worked!!! I have ask how to do this on several forums and even asked Tech support how to do this and have been told it could not be done with Amapi 7...Because it supposely changed the vertices!
This was the sole reason I bought Amapi a year ago..for morphing Poser characters
I wonder if this is known on some of the other Amapi forums where this problem has been posted several times.
Thanks Again

gtrdon I imported the .obj into UVMapper & then saved it without the option to save the material file. Deep Exploration also worked ok. I would suspect that any explorer type 3D prog. that handles .obj should be alright. As long as they have the option to not save the material file. Another way is to load the .obj file as atext file into a text editor i.e. NotePad & remove all references to the following "usematl". Then resave. When the .obj is imported into Anapi Designer 7 check the scene tree, if it only shows one mesh then you should be ok. Before I do any alterations to the mesh I always export under a new name & check out the morph target within poser. When you move the dial nothing should happen.
