Hello, I'm pondering to buy Poser 6, and I was wondering if you can answer me this question: The walk designer of Poser 6 has some improvements, compared with P5? Because my main concern is this: From poser 3 to 5 you was not able to add steps to your walking path in the y axis, example to use a walking path to make a character to climb stairs following the path you just create. Poser 6 is able to add steps at the "y" axis to your walking path? I guess a lot of animators like me has been waiting for this feature. Any information will be very welcomed. Sincerly Virus

NDA: Non-Disclosure Agreement If you are expecting answers from beta-testers under an NDA, you'll get a visit from the real Santa Claus sooner. ;)

I haven't seen anything in the promos that might suggest the Walk Designer has been changed at all from P5. 3D spline paths would be nice, I'll admit, but it isn't really that difficult to keyframe a figure's elevation via the animation graph.

The NDA still holds? I thought since it was after March 10, they could talk now. Sixus1 gave out some info today.

I'd think that they'd be held until at least release (~March 21).

Did I ask to someone to reveal "top secret" information? Guess not, I'm just asking to someone who will be kind enough to answer this silly small question. I'm agreed with you Little Dragon, but sometimes the graphic animation could be a mess to move checking points than just put the step where you want to be, don't you think? The only feature that I like of character studio is that you can set the steps where you want your character to walk, even over stairs, this could be a nice change for poser 6, but ohh well it seems that the main changes was focused in the render engine, please correct me if I'm wrong. It seems that we will going to wait till the release day to see if P6 has this new feature. I don't want that the real Claus will visit anyone of my Renderosity friends, hmmm in second thoughts I could feel happy if he visit one or two members around here hehehhehehehe J/K.

The only feature that I like of character studio is that you can set the steps where you want your character to walk There are also several thousands of dollars in price difference, because you also need 3DS Max to run Character Studio.

That's right, and Character studio is way complicated than Poser, but why change the subject matter if I just want to know if Poser 6 will have this feature. I want to let this clear, I'm asking for a feature that actually I don't know if Poser 6 will have.

You brought up Character Studio in post 7, so I thought you were asking if Poser 6 had a similar feature. I didn't change the subject, I was responding to what I thought was your question.

Thanks Deecey, I used Character studio just as example to ilustrate in one way what's my question about this issue.
