:) Great thinking - this image sorta reminds me of an advertisement - not sure why . Well anyways an excellent entry all these social issues about I am glad you peoples are reminding me what they are :)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Dunno why it's still a big issue myself. Let's face it, even the Greeks saw sex purely for procreation and buggery with another young male as the ultimate pleasure.... Ok, not sure I could go along with that, but after all this time you'd think we'd have come to accept it. And how come guys are happy to watch video's of 2 girls getting intimate, but 2 guys gets the 'Eject' button working?!? Yeah, really like the way you've presented it too. If you wanna post any pics of the honeymoon night, please - feel free ;-) (",)

i suppose the issue besides not being too popular with the church crowd is getting the tax & insurance benefits & the matter of parental rights

LostPatrol posted Sat, 12 March 2005 at 4:46 PM

It is still an issue, I guess, but like ReBorne, dont really see why.

Some people say it is not normal, but to them it is perfectly normal.

I'm all for live and let live.

One of my friends is gay and is a cross dresser and lives with a man, but it doesnt make him any less a person.

It is becoming less and less of an issue these days, there are, as with many things arguments for and agenised. Excellent entry and lovely presentation

& yes, times they are a changing... :]

Some will make this journey alone, others in loving relationships -
maybe in marriage or other forms of commitment.
We need to ponder our own choices and try to understand the choices of others.
Love has many shapes and colors and is not finite.
It can not be measured or defined in terms of sexual orientation."

I must say the photo is also really nicely shot.

But...on the other hand....I have been around Gay Men and Women most My Sea Life....and....find it Bigotry to be Homophobic...but, of course this is just one Girls Opinion....opps....Man's opinion...so....hope I don't say anything wrong.....don't want to become the "Victim of the Day". Ah yes! I don't see why not and I think people must be really bored with their own lives to care about what other people do in their bedrooms!!

tibet2004uk posted Mon, 14 March 2005 at 6:22 PM

Oh and this is a beautiful shot btw! Very romantic! Lace and pearls....

ReBorneUK posted Tue, 15 March 2005 at 12:34 AM

Ah, but Tibby, the point there is that we know our own hangups and want to be sure that other people have worse ones than ourselves ;-) (",) btw, did you know Freud was a prude who wouldn't do it with the lights on? rofl....

tibet2004uk posted Tue, 15 March 2005 at 2:10 PM

LMAO!! I guess u're right on this one! Makes us feel good! ;) But really, I don't give a damn if some prefer bondage or fistf*****g! Not my problem! I never get to understand how this can be an issue in the first place!! This is crazy how people can be bloody nosy and go as far as taking the right to decide what sexuality people should have!! This is totally nuts!! And well, Freud was a jerk IMHO! Certainly a frustrated perv anyway! ;)

cynlee posted Tue, 15 March 2005 at 2:20 PM

pascale... the problem was with what i said in my reply on 5... some people don't want to give them the tax credit, insurance benefit or the kid & some think the bible is law, well the parts that fit their agenda...

ReBorneUK posted Tue, 15 March 2005 at 2:27 PM

.........or is it "their parts that fit their gender?" No, now I'm getting obscure. Nurse! (",)

cynlee posted Tue, 15 March 2005 at 2:34 PM

oh you're a quick wit mikey :P lol :]

tibet2004uk posted Tue, 15 March 2005 at 4:12 PM

LOL@Mickey! And yes Cyndi, I hear u! And that's also what I meant even if I didn't mention it! But in the end, that's what it is! Because they have a sexuality that do not fit these people ideas, they then can not benefit from insurance and such!! And it's all because of their sexuality! How crazy is that?
