No, Laura is not gambling in Vegas yet, but she wants opinions of her new pair of shoes. I just put a pink color on them, as I've yet to UVMap these. I finally figured out how to make high heels in Shade. I do plan to eventually put these in a pack with many other things, if people are interested. Let me know what you think. -The Starkdog

Here's from the other side!

not very attractive.....the strings aren't tight enough...the heels need to be taller...like this they kind of look like sandals on heels.....but a great start!

Flip-flops with heels :). I find this kind of shoes very comfortable. But I agree with Aureeanna, the strings are a bit too loose and they reach a bit too far. Rest is nice. Although I don't have Laura, I'd use those with pleasure on any other female model :)

The heels are about right for a youngster's shoes, I don't like to see little girls tottering about on high heels. The strings are probably a good compromise, although you might consider adding morphs to adjust the fit. It's never going to be perfect in every pose.

I agree with EnglishBob, these sandals/shoes are just fine for Laura's age. I for one would like to have them: shoes and hair, I never have enough of. ;o) France

OK, Thanks for the critiques. I do realize that going from Shade to Poser is a crap-shoot, in that scales and positioning isn't exactly spot on, so I decided to kinda shelf the string strap idea. I changed to a solid strap, reminescent of the Dr. Scholl's-esque sandals. What I have created for Laura are not V3's "do-me" heels, but a low-mid heel sandal; I misquoted myself in the first post. Here is the next iteration of mid-heel sandals for Laura. Jeans and top from Poserworld. Let me know what you think of these. Thanks, -The Starkdog

Wow, you can't have to many comfortable shoes :D. Great job with the strap, looks better and more natural.

Yes, now these are great...the solid strap with the low heels looks great!

These look just right for Laura and I rather like the band across the foot rather than the strings 'cos in real life those strings would cut and chaff your skin, and that wouldn't do at all. 8)
