March 20th is the first day of spring. Let's ring it in with a mini poetry challenge. Do a Haiku on the theme of Spring. Use either the 5-7-5 Japanese form or the 3-5-3 American form. Here are a few to get us started. Post your Haiku between now and the 20th to help bring spring in on the right foot. Here are a couple to get us started: March blows in. Thunder clouds build up; Storm coming. Birds on wing. Blue skies overhead. New buds swell. Changeable. The weather of March, Warm and cold. I did all three in the 3-5-3 American form.
