Apply the body map to the materials of the body, then apply the face map to the different materials of the head (unchecking "applies to whole figure").

ONE other key thing is make sure you have object color set to white!! Then the other three are BLACK, BLACK, WHITE. (You can get various results by changing the ambient on the teeth and some other parts.) Actually, it's much easier to do the opposite of what Jeff said. CHECK "Texture changes apply to entire figure" and then assign the face/head map. Now UNCHECK the box and then simply change the body parts (SkinBody, Pubic Hair, Nipples, Fingernails, and Toenails.) There are less body parts then head parts. I wish (as does everyon else) there was an easier way. The best thing is to make a map ready figure and then add it to your library. Then of course there are bump maps and transparency, but worry about that after you get the mapping down. AFter doing a few characters you'll have ti down pat. -Tim
