Hi, I might not be online for the next couple days maybe till Monday 21st. I had my ebay account hacked, passwords changed on my ISP and my comp went down shortly after. Someone must really hate my guts.....=( I'll email AgentSmith about it too....man, I really don't need this......bad enough I'm using a friends comp to logon....

I'm sorry to hear about your computer probs too Zhann. I hope you're back up and running soon. Damn useless script-kiddies! May the fleas of a thousand camels infest their nether-regions! Darn you Quest! Now I have to climb up that narrow service-access pylon to engage the emergency manual override! *anyone seen my magneto-flux wrench?

On My Spare time I help clean / fix / remove these kind of things from PC's and its starting to get overwhelming, most of the time I dont charge anything. And you dont have to visit Pr0n Sites either to get them, a 3rd Party Advertiser can install malicious software utilizing Microsofts Multiple Holes that are not plugged yet. Sounds like you had a Keylogger, logging your keystrokes and sent them to a hackers listening box. Script Kiddies get their jollys doing this kind of stuff. Unfortunalty these days you can have a PC sitting naked without any protection. I have the luxury of having 2 computers. My high end system is not hooked up to the internet, and its the machine that I do my Music Composing, Bryce, Photoshop and Video Editing. My Slowest system which is what I use to check my e-mail and surf has. McAfee VirusScanner + Giant Company Anti-Spyware (now owned by microsoft). My Firewall is Hardware via a Router. Even if you dont have a network setup at home, I highly recommend purchasing a Router to put between your PC and the Internet. Routers have really dropped down in price, you can buy one for the Same price or cheaper than a Software Firewall Solution. D-Link & Linksys are two that I recommend are very easy to setup. You can limit incoming and outgoing traffic very easily via a web interface.

I feel for you as the others do. I have just had my computer hit and i have lost everything, 100GB of files. The sad thing is that somehow the virus or hacker has scratched my DVD RW disk so none of the backup files i have on disk can be used. I also have lost my entire family tree from which i have had over 15,000 people in it........the backup disk was in my reader at the time of the attack and now it cant be run on any PC. Some very clever people out there but why me?.......i have nothing of importance to them. I hope you get up running again and i hope my daughter dosnt mind me using her computer from now on!
Smile, your dead a long time :)
