the texture map is for poser 4 Why is the name and source of the texture a secret? Without that information, we can only say: This texture does not go with this figure... [There is more than one Poser 4 figure, not to mention the Poser 3 figures included with Poser 4...]

I tried the standard p4 texture and one called "blue eyes"

I don't recognize the texture on the arms. Doozy may be right because the map doesn't seem to fit your figure. But also check to be sure you're applying the body texture to the body, head texture to head & so on. Sometimes the texture file names are so similar that when you're selecting them in the load list, it's easy to get the textures for head & body mixed up. I do that all the time with similar results.

I finally worked it out, I exported the figure as a OBJ file and put in the UV mapper program and it came out as poser 3 texture map. But the figure is a poser 4 figure and I have also been using poser 4 morphs on the character. If some could help me please

Perhaps if you be more specific about the exact names of the textures & character you're using, someone may be able to help. Presumably the base figure is P4 Woman. Where did you get the texture maps? Who made them & what are they called?
