Honestly...how sick are you getting with all my silly cries for opinions???? I was driving around today looking for something old and worn down for Sheilas pleasure seeing that she seems to have a thing for old stuff. And as i was converting it to B/W i was thinking that maybe i could keep the door its original colour....am I wrong? I kinda made it a bit warmer but maybe im mistaking. So please feel free to give me your 2 cents....

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

I'd leave it all black and white. The color is distracting to me. It draws your eye away from the rest of the image. The image overall is great though. I love the tones. -Taltos

The more i look at it, the more i feel the same way. Ill think i will go all B/W on this one. Thanks! #:o)

Hey, Andreas! you were looking for something for me on your photo-finding expedition??? how nice you are!!!! Thanks!! yep...you're exactly right; i certainly do have a thing for old stuff, broken down stuff, rusty stuff...all that! Must be because i've gotten older, have rusty, arthritic joints, and have a body that's breaking down in my old age!!!! :) LOL! yep...now that i'm middle aged, i sure do appreciate older things!!! this place you found is a wonderful hideaway!!! I love it! i think b/w all the way on this one would be perfect!!! the color does seem to be a bit distracting and IMHO takes away from the natural beauty of this place and structure! and yep...i love those tones too! not sure what you did with this image but it really would make for a perfect illustration in a book or magazine!! would be another great scene to paint too! i like to get a lot of feedback too on images i'm indecisive about. working in groups...brainstorming...well, it really does help!!! anyway, thanks again!!!! You found a beauty for sure!!!

"how sick are you getting with all my silly cries for opinions????" Well, when you start posting "silly cries" we'll tell you - until then, you are asking for honest feelings about your work, for which there is no shame. I like this, but (one for the diary!) I have to agree that the door is a little off-putting in colour. May I make a small suggestion? The snow on the roof looks pixellated to me on the left - not because of your picture, but because of the shadows in the pits and grooves of the snow - and with it being in the middle, it catches my eye. I'm not sure, but I reckon a small blur just on the shadowing up there might smooth it out? Just my 2 penny worth....(approximate value after conversion $0.00001...lol) (",)

All good advice...yay for all of you...sigh...means more work for me though...but that doesnt seem to bother anyone, LOL. Im also happy for all the cash youre coughing up for me. Id like em in Swedish kronor though...Euro is okay too.... Well, this will be my finished photo unless anyone else have any other suggestions. I did as you pointed out, and blurred the snow a bit Mike. So...will this do I wonder?

The difference is subtle, but noticeable, which can only mean it's good in any language! (",)

i prefer the second version without the coloured door. if you're looking for a different lookthen maybe doing a toned version is worth a try, if not, ignore that suggestion :))
