Hello everyone, I hope this thread generates some interest! The idea behind it seems interesting I think, and involves an area thats gotten some attention. Many of you im sure have seen the DAZ3D Hat Hair Props, Western Hat with Hair, Beret with Hair, and other similar items. Im curious if a fantasy variation of this could be created: Helmet hair. What im imagining would have these features: My first thought was that it be for females, but I dont know if it would be better as a conforming figure or a prop, and if either of these considerations would make it more easily adaptable to a variety of male and female poser characters. Im thinking that it should be a slicked back style, very close to the head, so that it doesnt poke thru the majority of helms available. Perhaps it should actually be a texture map that just paints hair on the head to show around the ears on those helms without ear coverings? regardless of what the top is, I would hope for real hair to be available to flow out from the back and have morph to adjust the overall length that escapes from the bottom of the helm, and maybe the option to turn on some whisps escaping from either the side by the ears or maybe even a few bang strands to have become dishevled and have escaped out the front? Is this practical as a product request? having an any-helm compatible is impossible im sure, but having a most-helms compatible may be doable? maybe a series of morphs to adjust the level at which the hair becomes free of the helm bottom to begin flowing? What does anyone reading think? I would be interested in hearing from anyone that reads this and also desires such a product, to guage the level of demand, and I would be most interested to hear from Modellers as to thier views on the practicality of this idea, and if it is of interest to anyone with time :) Thanks for reading, Logan
