1. Listen to radio (if nothin good is on proceed to step 2) 2. Pop in CD - Ameican Idiot - Greenday 3. Bang wildly on steering wheel in time with music! 4. Shake head back n forth (get more into music) 5. Suddenly...notice the person in car next to yours, giving U weird looks 6. Give weird look back...continue on with the ROCKIN' 7. Make bad attempt to sing lyrics (lip sync if necessary) 8. Notice same person from step 5..giving weirder looks 9. Ignore person...open windows turn up volume REAL LOUD. 10. Checkout what the hell is in front of you! 11. Take camera from protective carrying case. 12. Click!

There ya have it...Behind the scenes of SHADOW TRAFFIC!

Wouldn't "Low Spark of High Heel Boys" be a better tune for this scenario? I like the fact that you had your camera ready. Some of my friends think it's strange that I always carry around my camera bag, always. What do they know? Very creative; thanks for the slice of life:}

Was going to make this a social issue,but will be good here too. People get funny when they see you holding a camera out the window too. especially when you are behind them and the flash goes off. Taking images while driving 60 mph is also a way to get funny looks.

This is funny too : Wait till dusk / night-time. Park the car up a reasonable distance from a speed camera that has foilage nearby. Walk into said foilage. Set camera to 'Red Eye' mode so it does a double flash. Wait until a car goes past at normal speed coz he KNOWS the camera is there and doesn't want to get caught. Take photo. Watch brake lights come on and car slow down to 10mph. Spend the next week at work giggling to yourself that there's a dozen people out there pooing their pants every times the postman brings the mail ;-) Not that I'd actually do this of course.... You are bad. I used to have a car that could pass for an undercover police cruiser. I was sorely tempted (but never did) to put on a blue shirt and mirroed shades and sit along side the road with a hair dryer and point it at oncoming cars. ;o)

I don't actually take pictures from inside my car if I can help it but there have been many times I was tempted. Especially the street signs in Galveston, Texas. The lettered streets start at "K" and as the island gets wider they go from there, even adding half streets.
