I am trying to convert obj files (props) that came on the content CD with Poser 4. Mac Converter is not working. Nor does File Typer. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks for your help.

I don't know about the obj files on the CD, but I've had no problem converting the ones I've gotten in Renderosity free stuff to Mac format with Mac Converter. Not sure what the difference is. Have you tried using Mac Converter on any files you got on Renderosity? Might be a good check to see if it's working properly.

That's one HUGE bench there, LOL! When you say, "I see that it is (in poser units) about 100 feet underground and 80 feet to the side. Plus being 50 feet high itself... ", how do you know that? is there a way to tell the size of things, relatively speaking? --MIke

Thank you all for your input. I was able to import the files with no trouble. I was confused - ugh --. Since I downloaded free props from Zygote and they showed up in my menu under props, I expected to find my props in the same area. My mistake.

how do you know that? is there a way to tell the size of things, relatively speaking? Well, I usually take 1 Poser unit to be 100 inches (or about 8 feet). For example, this bench (when you view it in a text editor) had y coordinates down to -14 or so, about 100 feet underground.
