Great start!

Yep, addictive, indeed :D Nice geometry BTW, basic rules are: try to use 4 sided polys whenever possible and do not add extra geometry where is not needed :) Model everything you see, it does not matter, practice is everything... Good luck man, and welcome to the SDS world, enjoy the ride !!! :D

This is the Bryce forum:-P Wings rocks. It is a lot of fun.

YEY! Wingsssss! YEYYYYYYY! It does get better once you get used to it... Then once you figure out how the smoothing stuff works, you're not gonna wanna let go. Definitely beats booleaning 20 objects for a compound curve...

I gotta get working on my Wings skills... And then beyond to SILO!
pauljs75 posted Thu, 24 March 2005 at 5:47 PM
Nope... Try making a wing that smoothly blends into an aircraft fuselage in Bryce only. Not exactly easy is it?

Nice ship you have there! Welcome to the club. Wings really does become addictive. I think Wings and Bryce go together like a hand and glove.

Good start. Wings is addictive I only started with Wings in January I add a few new commands every time. Settign edges smoothing is a great combo once you figure that out your on the home streach.

Aye, nice little spaceships, though! I'm glad to see you into modeling now, Warblade. Sure, having access to free stuff is cool, but there is a lot more satisfaction in knowing that you can make ALL your own props now, and YOU are learning at a very rapid rate here! Good stuff... Keep at it... (Rhinocerosrocks)
Kemal posted Fri, 25 March 2005 at 4:44 AM
