I took this at lunch today. Not sure which I like better. I think the B&W. Which do you prefer? TIA Magick Michael

these kind of shots look good in b&w imo, such hustle & bustle! :]

Gotta say b&w but that is what i prefer working in. Mind you in the colour version the man in the red hat stands out a lot more and does grab my attention.

B&W!!! When I first saw the BW shot, I thought busy, hetic, motion. When I saw the color, I did not get anything but my eyes hurting. To much to distract me.

whoo-hoo!!!! fantastic shot, Michael!!! b/w all the way on this one!!! you thought about doing some selective coloring on this? broatch makes a good point about that man in the red hat.

i would also go with the b&w shot. the b&W lets you soak in the scene without the distraction of having the colours compete for your attention. i hope this helps :))

i like the b & w but there's some neat stuff in the color which makes me wonder if some further exploration by you with selective desaturation might not be a good way to go.. If it was me I'd keep the yellow, red, brown colors and desat the rest.. (i.e. keep trees, red hat, buildings ... hit off the neon, blue and that glarey umbrella.... P.S. The ghost bike is terrific mate!

Yep, I'm going with the flow. B/W hits the spot for me! (",)

Dito addiek ....Its not because we have the possibility to decolorise a picture that she will become a real B&W...and in digital you can select both before shooting...and you will see the difference...A Black is not A Colored White :-)
