After a long time thinking about I solved the problem. For any pose that you apply to Vicki the weights always points toward the ground, and it works with Poser 4 !!!!!!

and are you going to tell us how you did this, or do we have to belong to a secret club, lol.

For few bucks as 100,000$ you can belong to the secret club. The secret??? "Point to" to some object translated in the y axis -1000 or more units.

the old Object>Point At ?

First you have to create an articulated prop, in this case was a circular rope parented to the shin and a rope with weight parented to the circular rope.
You must set up the origin in the correct point of rotation and also the end point and correct direction, you can do it with the joint editor.
When you have done this the weight will be able to rotate correctly (not sepparating from the shin rope).
The last step is to use "point to" with the rope with weight.

This trick is explained in "Secrets of Figure Creation", page 133 under "Gravity and anti-gravity".

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.

Geez, my first thought was that this was some kind of BDSM fetish thread, lol

Three years prior to its description in Bloodsong's book, Darth_Logice also explored some of the potential of using Point-At to simulate gravity effects on hair and breasts in these threads. http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=58370 http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=58618

Yes, I know that is an old thing, but it never worked for me. I used point to ground and the direction was not perpendicular in all positions. There is a gravity prop somewhere in the freestuff, it point to a virtual object well below the ground, but continue not working. I solved the problem when I set the "end point" of the junction with the joint editor and now is working. Setting the origen and direction is not enough!
