Just trying out how to set up a simple scene in cinema v9.1 and syncing this with vue Infinite, when I save the camera data from cinema and import it into vue I set the camera in vue to the sync data it recieves but I see nothing on the time line and the camera will not move it just sits there. Am I doing something wrong or missing somthing. videodv.

In v5in, did you choose something in the panel (what you want to synchro. i.e. name of the camera)?

Yes I selected the camera that was imported.

Could you tell us more. what is the sequence. Open C4D, open scene, select, etc... Btw did the softs, both, were opened when you worked?

OK, In cinema I setup a simple scene of a sphere going across the window from right to left 100 frames I used a target camera to follow the sphere. I the used the sync plugin to export the camera data. Open vue infinite and click yes to import the camera data from cinema, I then select the main camera in vue select synco from the motions options and then select camera in the sync with box. I also tried with a sphere in vue and selected the camera data to link that with the sphere but nothing there either. Yes both where at the same time.

could you do that: not use target camera in c4D! Try a simple camera. At start one position and orientation then at end another position and another orientation. In fact, a "simple thing" tfor a quick test. Then try the synchro again. Should work. Good luck.

OK I tried that but still the same, in vue all the cameras data is set to zero position in the time line. Just noticed that the syncro plugin in cinema is saying a duration of (0 secs)!

Could you show us your C4d timeline. Could you show us some captures... :-(

Hum... I see your C4D capture... Where are the keys? Where is the animation? :-

And I see your capture in Vue. The synchro was done! :-) But you need to have animation in C4D to mhave an animation in vue ;-)))

ok here is the time line.

Ok. Sorry. Hum... I check again your vue capture. In time line I see main camera. That's mean the camera from c4d is not selected.

Trick: in the origine soft it is cool to name the camera with the name of the soft... i.e. C4D-Camera. So when synchro is done it is cool to find the good camera... you see?

I have checked all that and made sure I have the main camera selected in vue, but still nothing. I keep looking at the sync plugin in cinema and it says frames 1 and duration 0? How do I change the duration, should this be automatic with the plugin.

I find! I checked again, better, your first capture. In the plug in synchro panel how many frame you see? ;-))) Duration is 0. It is not a problem (or a bug) from vue. You have a problem to create an animation in c4d.
IMPORTANT: configure render settings is important step in both softs! Frame rate and duration should be the same!
Then in vue, one click on C4D camera should change your main camera n vue's time line...
