I would get that but it seems awfully plane, stick figure looking almost. When I think of a mecha like this I would like it to convey a sence of !!MASS!! this seems to spindilly and light weight to me.

It's a knat in armor, lol
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

You could always do what I'm planning on doing -- converting the larger pieces into prop-based armour for my other figures.

So far, I haven't really cared for most of the stuff, but got it because of the price. I'm not about to spend extra on the texture pack for this one.

Damn you, jjsemp! Damn all of you to HELL!!!! (in my best Charlton Heston voice) That'll teach me to watch Sci-Fi Friday in the living room instead in the office. ;) What are you losing if you get them for $0.98 or less? If you don't get them now and find a need for them later, you'll be paying much, much more. Hey, it's a gimmick, but it's a good gimmick.

I got the clothing things for M3 and V3 and the hair cause you can never have too much hair LOL, but while this is a nice looking mesh I would have no use for it that I can forsee

Actually, for sixty-cents (Platinum Club price) I'll take pretty much anything. As kuroyume0161 said, it's a gimmick, but it's a GOOD gimmick. -jjsemp

"So far, I haven't really cared for most of the stuff, but got it because of the price. I'm not about to spend extra on the texture pack for this one." Now why would one buy something he doesn't care for? It just ends up as space on your harddisk eventually to be thrown off it. "what are you losing if you get them for $0.98 or less?" In total $13 which could have used on one item or towards one item you actually do like and end up using. I've only bought one item in the sale and used the voucher from last sunday to get something, the rest I could care less about. What in the world am I going to do with a vampire, some harem stuff or a strange looking battle robot? But I'm hoping they've got something useable too in the final days.
Artwork and 3DToons items, create the perfect place for you toon and other figures!

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(
Food for thought.....

Still got some secrets to reveal... justice must be seen to be done?
constantine_1234 posted Sat, 26 March 2005 at 5:54 AM
Sometimes my needs or wants may change, as time passes. At times I've decided to do a project, and used something that had gone neglected for months or years. I'll probably find a use for the harem outfit once I have a chance to get familiar with Poser 6. I'm not sure about the other stuff. However, I am caught up in the DAZ fever. Really it appears DAZ has a new "sale" or special every week. If you miss one, or don't like the current special, you're bound to like the next one. That's what I like about DAZ. So I bought a $10 gift certificate, and apply that to each new March Madness special.

Oh, it's tempting, it is. But do they tell you the file-size? Some of this stuff is no fun to download on dial-up, and not everyone is able to get broadband.

It's big, too. I loaded it up and all I could see was the big shadow on the ground plane. Remember, one of the cockpits is inside the head... =)
I wonder... I have a good few other smallish spaceships... how about a Gundam-like scene? Or does anyone think this neat (not-so-)little toy looks more like MACROSS? Maybe a giant robot against a ST shuttlecraft...?

If you're thinking MACROSS now, just wait until you see Valandar's next offering ....
constantine_1234 posted Sat, 26 March 2005 at 12:08 PM
Valandar has done some great stuff over the years.

Little_Dragon, you're supposed to strike an ominous chord on the organ when you say something like that! =) Looking forward to seeing it anyway, even if I don't end up buying it...

I suspect Little_Dragon's next fearsome monster will be a wheelie-bin.
SpottedKitty posted Sat, 26 March 2005 at 3:07 PM
A wheelie-bin with a >burp< morph...? =)
(Yes, I've just seen it. Good. Potentially very good.)
