Seeking advice and help, after installing Poser 6 upgrade and seeing 2 Poser.exe's in my Curious Labs folder, I got very confused to say the least. So read up certain threads and off course I had installed my Poser 5 Runtime all wrong. I had every single item in my main Runtime :/ Yes no wonder it was all so very, very slow /cries I smack myself for being an eager beaver, not reading anything and just clicking exe's files when installing as I want to just get on with it and play in Poser! Now look what happened /whine's some more... Anyway, my question is, if I was to uninstall Poser 5, will I lose all my installed items in Runtime? Can I rename my main Runtime to something silly and still go ahead with uninstall and make a fresh new installation? then manuelly put back item's correctly? OR.....copy my main Runtime to somewhere say to Desktop? Well, I need advice please on what to do, reading up countless threads is making me dizzy here. The thought of reinstalling every single item is very scarey :( How I wish I had known about Dr. Geep's tutorial on Multiple Runtime's when I first purchased Poser :( Totel newbie in Poser and on computer. Thank you in advice.

I have uninstalled Poser 5 a few times when I had problems and re-installed to a different drive. My runtime folder was always there in the old location, uninstall did not remove it. I hope this answeres your question.

I have always played it safe and renamed my runtime then did the uninstall and reinstall. Not to mention I then had my messy folder that I could take my time with and clean out and put things into the new folder Angel1
