Blonderella, what day did you preorder?

And more importantly, did you order from the US or the UK store? I have a feeling orders in the US will get processed faster while we wait for the shipments to arrive in the UK first before they're sent out to us in Europe :(

I got curious and emailed DR yesterday to see if they had any idea when P6 was going to be shipped. When I checked email this morning, I had a reply from them and it's kind of depressing. Dear Customer, We're sorry, the product that you ordered is on backorder. Although we do not have an estimated arrival date, we are working with the vendor to obtain more stock as soon as possible. As soon as we receive your product it will be promptly shipped and you will receive a confirmation email at the address you supplied on your order. Rest assured that we will not charge your card until the product ships. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Thank you for contacting the online store's Customer Support. Or maybe they are going by zip codes? Or maybe UPS and air courier and US Post Office shipments are sent separately? It would be nice to see my box by Friday, but I'm not going to throw a tantrum if it is next week, given the holidays and the multiple handlers. Carolly

Well, since I've only seen 2 people post that they've gotten a shipping announcement, I don't think the majority of use will be seeing P6 till at least next friday, at the very earliest. I'm just glad I didn't pay anything extra for overnight shipping.. ;)

I ordered mine on 2/16, too. I paid $9.75 for shipping in the U.S.--is this the standard shipping option? I can't remember that far back.

I ordered poser 6 on March 14th, I received an email on March 25th that it has been shipped. It is due to arive at my house on March 30th.

Tiny, I think they are working from the recent orders back to the start. It really kind of pisses me off.

I sent an e-mail to Deep River to ask how they are processing the orders and when I can expect my copy to ship. I noted that it seems they are filling the orders placed in March first. If that is the case, I will be most unhappy since I placed my order on the first day.

It almost sounds like last ordered first shipped. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Make that Digital River--it's been one of those days today.

I ordered on Feb 17th...I'm curious as to what kind of answer they'll come back with pigfish, I'll be pissed too if they're going from last ordered back.

I just got one...

What really ticks me off is I pre-ordered(Feb 19th) P6 long before I sent my tax returns in (Mar 19th) and low and behold I got my tax refund BEFORE I got P6.

Mine got shipped today also and I ordered on 2/17. The tracking number is not working right now, so don't know when I'll get it, I chose standard shipping.

I got my e-mail that it shipped today since I left work. Yippee!! I'm really doing a happy dance because I'm off to CompUSA for a new, faster PC with Pentium 4 to run it on. What was a lousy day has become a great one! Mine is PC Upgrade.

At 8:49Pm, EST, I received an email that my order was being shipped. Being this late, it probably wont get picked up by UPS until tomorrow. I do have a tracking number so I'll be checking to see when it is to get to me. YEAH!!!!!!

And ... Let the P6 wars begin !!! ;=]

You got that right Doc..Oh, and I see there are finally more entries in your March Challenge...that so cool.

Didn't get an email notification, myself, but I wasn't expecting to receive one, anyway. I'd accidentally mis-entered my email address when placing my order, and didn't notice until afterward.

Checked my order status at the Digital River website, however, and confirmed that it was fulfilled. I now have a tracking number.

So now it's merely a question of how fast our one-legged deliveryman can push that wheelbarrow.

I ordered mine just last night (after seeing blonderella's had actually shipped - around post #10) and I just received my UPS shipment confirmation -- less than 24 hrs. I had to be pretty close to the last in line.

PapaBlueMarlin, at first I couldn't remember, but my e-mail states I placed my order on Februray 21, 2005.

I just checked the UPS tracking number. Mine left on a truck at 9 something p.m. e.s.t. out of Minneapolis, MN. That looks like a 3 day UPS ground delivery down here to Texas. My mail comes to a UPS store so maybe that will help. I'm hoping to have it by Saturday (fingers crossed tightly).

UPS tracking center says that they got my billing/shipping information but doesn't indicate that they have the physical box in their hot hands yet. I'm still hoping for Friday. Where's NORAD when they are REALLY needed? Note: this is for a Mac, and was ordered Mar 2nd.
