Hi all! I've been thinking a long while about graphics related forums - especially in the area of information sharing... there don't seem to be too many sites that people can really get together and share all the juicy ins and outs of actually using various graphics programs... There are plenty of gallery sites that offer forums, but it seems that those forums tend to get lost in the rush of people heading straight for the gallery space and not stopping long enough to share tips and techniques with others. Then there is the inevitable fracas when someone says something not totally flattering about another person's work, and all hell breaks loose... lol! So - I've gone and built a bulletin board designed primarily for people who DO want to stop and share tips and techniques. I do not offer gallery space - and I do not allow nasty behaviour from my fellow enthusiasts. The bulletin board was opened officially today, and thus needs (more) people to help it grow into something that we can all be proud of. I am open to all suggestions on adding extra areas for discussion, etc... after all, who am I to know exactly what is best for other people? I have set up one area pretty much completely (for Apophysis, as that is what I'm primarily interested in) - but have left the structure of the place flexible enough that I can add as many other areas of interest as people would like... So - what say you? Are you interested in helping to build a great place for the sharing of information on the various graphics apps that you all use? If so... feel free to head on over and have a look around... if you like what you see, by all means, sign on up and let me know what you'd like to see added there... http://www.woosie.net/fracfan/index.php Registration is only necessary in order to post messages (makes it easier to keep track of who's said what...lol!) - ALL are free to read without having to register. Thanks, T.
