Hey zulu,

Why do you want to get rid of "Free Stuff?"

Just curios.

Is it true that Content Paradise slows startup and removing it helps? I read somewhere that one can get to the freestuff direct from a browser... does this not include the special P6 bonus content?

Hello,
This is absolutely not true, the content tab has no effect on startup or shutdown time. Nothing loads until you access the tab.

CP is available directly from http://www.contentparadise.com. There is free content available to everyone, for example this and this. Or do a search on free, or click the "free stuff" link....we're also working on and adding tutorials, more free downloads, two more contests, developer support, and some more interesting stuff like ercs, and jcm's.

Thanks,
Steve

Thank you Steve,

It's always nice to get the answers straight from the "CL horse's mouth" so to speak.

Geep, I love free stuff that I can use. Like your tutorials. But having an extra tab I don't use is like getting a free white elephant to keep in my tiny backyard. Just takes up space. If I want to access a web site I'll just use Firefox.

Well, the content tab don't work for me. At program startup, my firewall asks me if I want to allow Poser.exe to broadcast, which I allow. I click on the content tab, poser stops responding for a while. When it comes back, it says that the content paradise is unavailable.
