i have seen the P4 morph for very high heels, but would love to see same for Vicki, by itself; ditto something like PhilC's wonderful crazy shoes. Been searching, to no avail so far. Any sighting? (And, alas, i'm not sure i want to cough up for Vicki Supermodel just yet). Many TIA, Nan

OK, i'm an airhead... please forgive me. i'm thinking of Jim Burton's high heel morphs w/o the rest of the supermodel. ((beg beg))

Shoes are props which can be parented to either P4 or Vickie, all you have to do is re-scale them, position them on the foot, set the parent to whichever foot you're working on, then save as a amart prop. Your manual will tell you how to parent and save as smart prop if you're unfamiliar with the proceedure. The very high heels for P4 that you're referring to also came with a morph for the feet to make them fit better -- you're on your own there. You could try to use the magnets to make them fit better, then spawn a morph target.

there's a free vicky character, "laura," who has a supermodel-type body and a foot morph for a high heel--and is wearing cool high heeled sandals. I think I got her from the freestuff... Mary

Thanks guys. i'm still at the stage where i put out a magnet, tweak dials, and nothing happens. That is, still not clue-ful. Your hints are helpful. And i'll go check out Laura (though i'm not a fan of the supermodel look, overall). --Nan

Nan, the key to making a magnet work is to adjust the "mag zone"--that's a sphere that determines where the magnet has an effect. The easiest way to get the hang of mags is to select the head of a model, choose load magnet, and then select the magnet and either scale it or rotate it. By default the mag zone will include the entire head and you'll see some pretty extreme changes. Once you figure that out, it's a matter of sizing & moving the mag zone to just effect the nose or what have you. I'm trying to find where I got Laura from and I can't! wah! If you can't find her or a similar morph let me know and I'll see about making a foot morph for ya. Mary

Mary, Ya know, my day job is interfering with my Poser fiddling! Darn it! :^) Anyhow, yes, i'll have to conquer that next... after these three current projects. i was hoping for a quick fix, but one is seldom rewarded for trying to squiggle out of doing the work. As for a foot morph for Victoria, since Jim Burton's nice-looking one only works for P4woman, what would you like in return?? Cash via PayPal, or something else? Many thanks, Nan

Oh goodness, I don't want anything unless you have a cool free item lying around that you care to share. I can use the practice with magnets...I'll try it tonight. Mary

SMV got started as a high-heel morph for Vickie, belive-it-or-not, but once I got started I couldn't stop! I think maybe I'll make one though, as I'm planning a future outfit that will require it. Unlike the Posette, Vickie is also going to need a morph to pull her toes tighter, I think, in addition to more arch in the foot, so there is actually going to be 2 pairs of morphs.

It's a morph-off! Jim, i believe that SMV could start with this. You're so great! i made my own modest morphs, and uploaded them to free stuff after testing, but didn't squish her toes. Should have, i suppose. Ow! Better her feet than mine in that fetish gear! i made a "full body morph" according to Traveler's Morph World tutorial, but failed to get them to apply correctly. Maybe next time. Cheers-- Nan a woman in *comfortable* shoes :^)soulsong posted Wed, 24 January 2001 at 6:02 AM
Nan, just wanted to tell you I LOVE your site. Your artwork is to die for. I want to be a F.O.E.!! Kimberly (a woman in Birkenstocks at even the most formal occasions)

I did a set of morphs last night, they are in Free-stuff, also at my website. I basicly worked them so Super-model Vickies' shoes could be made to fit, it required toe morphs as well as foot morphs, as I expected, you also have to scale the feet and toes down a little in X (instructions are in the Zip). However, shoes are not included!nfredman posted Thu, 25 January 2001 at 12:10 PM
Jim, you are a god! i wish i could have peeked over your shoulder while you were doing it. Yee hah!
