Daz3D has just started their final "MarchMadness" sale - 30% off of Published Artist Products. Interestingly, Daz3D Gift Certificates are included in this sale. Wait for it... :) Okay, here's my scheme, if it's viable: 1. Purchase X amount of Gift Certificates at $0.70 on the dollar. 2. Use said Gift Certificates to purchase Sale items (already 30% off). 3. Overall, get like 47% off the items!! Whatcha y'all think? :)

 Robert... I surely hope that you are not an accountant for some oil and energy and water conglomerate! That is creative, that is legal, but that isn't quite right. OTOH, there have been several leveraging schemes posted before which passed muster, much to the chagrin of whomever opened the gates. Carolly

Agreed. ;0) The funny thing is that even after the sale, whatever you use the Gift Certificates for is automatically 30% off! Sadly, I've purchased $50 worth for $35 using Paypal and, suprise surprise, I'm still waiting for the order to be filled. A little teleconferencing going on at Daz, maybe?

One last caveat: there are several scenarios that could transpire. 1. Force the GC's to $35. But they'd better get me the codes before the end of the 30% sale. 2. Keep the GC's at $50, but send the codes after the sale. Not optimal, but acceptable. 3. If not 1. or 2., they have some explaining to do as I go to the top to make a valid complaint. They have to honor either the 30% off GC's, provide me a means to use that 30% on items, or offer a refund. End of story.

Wow. I never even thought to check the price of gift certificates. This has to a be a mistake...

this happened before and DAZ closed the door so they're aware of it.

Yeah man I got M2 and V2 and a BUNCH of other stuff for next to nothing at X-mas 2 years ago doing that scheme. Hasn't worked since. :)

I think they may have left the door open again, with that big Web site update they did. A lot of things haven't worked quite right since then.

I've just bought (and paid for) the Eastern Jewels textures, by Ravnheart...sadly they do not seem to be available for download yet. Come on Daz get a ruddy shift on :), I am impatient to snag my purchases. Good luck to all

I may have to get some GC's.

Here's the real question... can you use the gift certificate to buy more gift certificates? 1. Buy X gift certificates for 0.7X with cash. 2. Spend the X gift certificates to buy ~1.4X gift certificates. 3. Do you have $1000 yet? If not, repeat step 2.

Coupons and discounts may not be used to purchase gift certificates That's what is on the page where you buy them. Marque

Appears that they had their discussion. And they have removed the Gift Certificates from the database of sale items.
Now, when do I get them? ;)
OT: Speaking of 'getting', I just received two boxes: Poser6 and Vue5I!
