In the neverending quest to get more realism into skin, I've been experimenting with FastScatter. However, I've struggled to get decent results, so thought I'd go back to step 1 and test Translucence (which FastScatter is based on). To my suprise, I found I couldn't get translucence to work at all in P6!The attach image shows the same scene, rendered in P5 and P6. You can see the light is behind the ball, and in the P5 render, the non-light side of the ball correctly illuminates. In P6 this is not happening. Both rendered with FF, no shadows.
Aynone got any ideas? I am I doing something wrong? I've attached the scene (http://www.users.on.net/~pkinnane/Translucence.pz3) - can someone with P6 pls render the scene and see if they have more luck? Maybe I've got a dodgy installation of P6.

(I have no idea of what I'm doing. My box won't get here until Monday), but comparing the two images: the Diffuse Node attached to the Translucence for P6 has a check box for Normals Forward. What happens if you check that box?
