Well...im getting closer people. I do belive ive made my desicion on which camera to get...but now remains to figure out where to buy it from??? After dooing some googling i found out that cameras in general are up to three (!!!!) times as cheap in USA than here in Sweden. So im thinking about ordering it from there...but i would like to know if someone know of a good and reliable site to buy from...and that ships abroad. Thank you! Have a great weekend #:o)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Hi A, Did you buy your camera yet? I got all my cameras from Wolf/Ritz camera. www.ritz.com They are a totally reliable and knowledgeable dealer. The main reason I have always used them (4 cameras)--which wouldn't really apply to you -- is because I can go in there and ask questions and they have classes that come with purchase of the camera.

If you're buying from the USA instead of Europe, don't forget to think of 1. shipping costs 2. warranty - how happy will Swedish dealers be to service/repair? 3. Customs duty when you import 4. VAT (ridiculously high in Sweden) on top of import duty. One possibility you might look at is nipping over the border to Norway, buying it there and claiming the VAT back as you are buying it for export into the EU. Then (naughty, naughty) not declaring it to the Swedish customs. (Da*n, I'm not sure this will work as Norway is a member of the EEA). This certainly works if you come to Switzerland (VAT = 7.6%)

Just that I have yet to find any prices to compare to the ones in USA. But if you know of a good place, please let me know #:o)

we buy our cameras from Best Buy. here's the link to their site that tells about shipping info. they do guarantee if the item arrives broken, they will replace it, and you can also purchase a warrenty. not sure if they ship internationally. i assume they do since they ship to military personnel who are overseas, but you could IM them to find out.

if you want to see the prices and what cams are available, just go back "home" and browse their cams.

good luck!

apparently that link was too long. the top one won't work. you'll have to use this one. sorry it's not clickable. i can't get it to work. don't ask me why. guess i'm too sleepy. :( https://www-ssl.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?type=page&entryURLType=&entryURLID=&categoryId=cat10003&id=cat12097

One of the cheapest places I know is link above. They send to Europe and refund the customs duty. I have not bought personally but know of others who have with no problems.

I've just had a look at Kort's site - they look excellent but do specify USA warranty!

I bought mine at best buy as well. But I've also bought a bunch of stuff on Ebay and do so with confidence. Prices there can be soooo much better.
