Subject: Poser6 and Shade7

I recieved my Poser 6 today and installed P6. Played around a bit, then installed Shade7. I would like to give that a go before all the fun begins and have Shade 7 and Poser 6 work together. I came to the problem of running Shade 7 which requires a serial number. Where is this serial number? I used the Poser6 serial number, but I get "Try again" and it exits. I look and look, and I am unable to find this number for Shade 7 that came with Poser 6.

Mine was on the confirmation email, but I got the download edition.

I got the shade serial number in an email confrimation and I got the box version

I checked my "order confirmation" emails and I do not see a serial number there either.

I ordered the boxed edition, and gotten 12-14 followup Emails. My Shade Serial number was in the one shown here - (actual serial number cropped out). Easy enough to assume it's irrelevant boilerplate and delete it out of hand. Have you checked your deleted bin for an Email with the same title? Otherwise try contacting CL for a replacement.

Hmm...I only recieved 3 followups emails. And when ever I recieved one, I would put them in a personal folder. I never deleted them. I am trying to contact CL on this. Searching for phone number

I emailed them this afternoon about the missing s/n, and they replied within 15 minutes with the number by email :) I'm very impressed with the quickness of customer service at CL!

same here, no shade registration number with any confirmation emails...when i first got a confirmation, then a back order email, i decided to cancel the order, and within a couple minutes, i got a shipping confirmation...very strange... they must have hired aliens to work there...; ^]
