Is it possible to export the wireframe view to a PNG file? I know I can export the preview to a PNG file and if it is in a wireframe view it exports. However, it really is just exporting the picture itself. If I export the rendering to a PNG file the quality is better and the background stays transparent. It would be like rendering in wireframe and the render would be the wireframe. Then export it. Thanks

Create and render a single frame movie. In the render settings select Display and anti alias. Set your render image size to 91x91 pixels and when given the option save in PNG format.

Thanks for the response Phil. When I do that I still do not get a transparent image. I can render the wireframe and export to PNG, no problem. No matter what the settings, the image is still not transparent between each line of the wireframe. The background around the object itself is. But not the object. Thanks,

OK on to plan "B" :)

This time render a regular image but much larger, try 1024x1024. Save in PNG format. Now in Photoshop or similar select the colour in between the wireframe. Next use the menu command "select similar" thereby selecting all the background. Now go to your alpha channel and flood fill the selection black. Reduce the image size to 91x91 and save.

Thanks, That was what I was fearing, OK, call it lazy. I imported to Fireworks and I am using the "magic wand" to eliminate the solid area between the lines. Works great, just a long process. I have Photoshop, it just seems Fireworks is better at the rastor level. Thanks again,
