I got a chance to work with Vue5I for my latest picture and I found it to be pretty stable, although I did have one crash and burn when it went to render. Not sure what that was all about as I couldn't duplicate it. Other than, it ran fine. It renders quicker in final mode than it used to in Vue4Pro, mainly because I guess now anti-aliasing is in the pass rather than at the end, which seems to work much better. I can't seem to get it to not do bounding boxes for Poser or it's own items (in OpenGL hardware). I've looked at various settings, but I couldn't figure out where to change this? Maybe it's because I only have 512Meg of RAM, although I do have a fairly recent ATI videocard. The other problem I have is it seems to give an error on closing, which doesn't take away from using it, but it's a bit annoying to have to answer the requester everytime that it had an improper shut down. Other than that, is a lot of fun and unlike Vue4Pro when I got it, seems to be much better tested and stable. I haven't tried the new beta yet. Just wish I had more time to play.
