I am looking for free downloads of decorative fans, parasels and stand up screens. I've checked a number of sites, but haven't come across anything like that. Does anyone know a site that has items like that?

Honey has a bunch of free Japanese props, including a parasol: http://edogoyomi.page.ne.jp/download/3dmodels/ ExpandingWave.com is a site devoted to Japanese stuff. It's a store, but there's a very nice free stuff section.

Thank you :) edogoyomi.page.ne.jp is a great site. I'll poke around there after I get a few hours of sleep. The ExpandingWave.com site is spectacular! Too pricey for me though, but the quality of work looks excellent. I was mesmerized by the water and fire section. Awesome creations. I haven't had a chance to look at the other 2 sites, but have bookmarked them for later today. I'm sleepy and have a date with my pillow :)

Did you check the Free Stuff section of ExpandingWave? They've got several pages of free props and such. Very well modelled and authentic.

Zippo's Laboratory 108 has some nice contemporary items, also.

Yes I did. Very nicely done props. I notice that some are for 3DS and Vue though. I'm mainly looking for traditional decorative fans, parasels and stand up screens. I did see a "wall hanging" and downloaded it, but I'm not sure if it's for poser or not yet.

You should be able to import the 3ds items to Poser. Vue's format can't be imported to Poser, but 3ds and OBJ can.

Thanks cooler. A number of links in there. I've book marked the threads and will make my way through them.
