They are such cute little critters (if they don't bite). We used to have one that would come right up on the porch and take the peanuts out of your hand.

Awww!! Adorable!! They look so cute and all but they're not that cool really! I've learnt something a few weeks ago about them and here it is: the area used to be inhabited by red squarrels. Then the grey squarrels have been implanted here and they killed all the red squarrels! That's why there's only grey ones left around here! Yep!

Cool one Doug! Love them sunny hi-lites! Hey, I know exactly what ya mean! These guys are FAST and kinda on EDGE! Ya move a bit... they jump or scoot up a tree! Sometimes though ya find one....that is either NUTS or a bit too DUCKY!

Awwwwww! I'm melting away with all these adorable shots! I managed to shoot one squarrel on a branch but it's so crap that I'm ashamed! Ur shots are fantastic guys!

Yes, they often do indeed unless u have a Sam around! Not a chance! He actually killed one a few months ago! I had nightmares about it for about a week! So I'd rather like them to stay in the trees! Never minds the shots!

at my gram's cottage, the squirrels and the chipmunks were bitter rivals for her attention...pic at the top was her feeding one of her precious little monks :)
