Wow, Beck, that's really pretty, no, QUITE good even without the anti-aliasing. :) I think we're going to extend this VC 003 another week. :) Mostly because I'm already out of ideas, LOL! Good job! --Mike

Cool... love the foliage. Trees and foliage seems to be one of Vue's strong points that I really like. Now I'll have to go hunt up the final render. Can't wait to see how it came out. :)

Cool of you to notice, 'bear. :) I certaimly would never knock Bryce, but the plant life is one of the major deals about Vue: Vue d'esprit uses these algorithims to "grow" new plant life in accordance with the overall genetic structure of a real plant. The result is that the vegetations are always different, yet conform to pre-defined standards, unlike, say, having a static model which will always be the same. In other words, in Vue the Maple Tree is always a Maple tre, in accordance with the laws that define maple trees, but it wil not be just like the one sitting next to it which you "grew" one minute earlier. :) --Mike

Cool... are they exportable?

That's the bad part---no. :( E-on, the makers of Vue, view that as their "secret weapon", claiming that there are other programs which allow for tree modeling, such as X Frog. But then again, you can't export a Bryce Boolean or plant either. ;) But Vue does allow for exporting the terrains it generates, just not the plant life.
