Hi folks, thanks for all the help you gave me in previous postings. So, here's one more :-) In an interior scene with a human model, some walls and lights, where can I get the most perfect/detailed rendering? In Poser or Bryce? And is it true that Poser is much faster rendering? Thanks in advance, LV

Yes. Poser is much faster. But it's because Poser doesn't use a "true" rendering engine. You'll get speed from Poser. But not quality. Bryce is much slower. But looks much nicer. ScottA

Remember that Poser is NOT I repeat, NOT a raytracer. So things like reflections, refraction, and volumetrics can not be done in Poser. bryce IS a raytracer, so it does all of these and more, but (there's always a but), there are no "soft" shadows in Bryce. This to me is a major drawback. And it is true that Bryce may take longer to render, but it's because it has so many more calculations because it IS a true raytracer. Hope this helps. James
