Changing the angle of the camera during an animation. Is this possible in Vue4? I want the camera to face forward and move past the subject for a bit and then slowly turn to face the subject whilst still going away from it. The subject will then gradually get smaller in the animation. I can only seem to get the camera to point in the direction of motion. I would like to be able to swivel the camera at the keyframes and have it gradually rotate through. Thanks, Kevin

Sounds pretty straightforward. I'll give it a go. Thanks yggdrasil. Kevin

I regularly try this, but have never managed to get it looking smooth. There always seems to be some amount of jerkyness to it. It seems to be very difficult to get the amount of movement from before the keyframe to match up with movements after the keyframe, and so the jerkyness. There's no smooth transition of inertia. I wish that I could access the animation curves directly, as in other animation programs, so that I could smooth out jerky movements.

OK here's a little useful titbit for animation, try this: Make a simple small object, like a cube, and set the camera to track this object. Then you move the object about on the timeline to all the places you want the camera to look, and when you render, you hide the cube from render.

Hi Folks, I tried the method suggested by yggdrasil and it worked a treat! Thanks very much.
