Subject: Critique my first Bryce post/render, please.

This is a model I'm working on to incorporate into a final render...with some characters I'm working on. Anyway, I know its kinda plain right now, but it's just a begining, what does anyone think? Link is the 800x600 image of this pic.

I think you did a great job modeling and a great job on your first Bryce render. I really like the rusted metal. Look forward to seeing more. Jade

Nice work. It has a great post-apocyliptic/mad max kinda feel to it. Great textures and a cool pov.

anybody else wonder why their first render was the mirrored sphere of water image? thats a neat rust material... BT

The rusty stain coming from the base of the rail is a nice touch

I'm always amazed when someone posts their "first" renderings and think that they aren't that good. Some of us (or maybe its just me) wouldn't even think of posting our "first" picture we made in Bryce. In fact I think I deleted mine a loooooooong time ago! PS - By the way I think its a great "first" picture! Marty
