Ok, first of all, this might not be the right forum for this type of post (which, if it isn't, I don't know of any other it would fit) but oh well, I'm putting it here because I used only Bryce on this. Ok, enough chit-chat, let's get down to business (WHOOOPEEEE!!!!) So I'm playing around with the Deep Texure Editor and... hey, i know i'm a newbie, but i have a right! hey, Hey! what're you doing with my cpu?! Bring that back!! bastards... anyway, I WAS pushing buttons and moving dials back & forth & changing colors... ooo, pretty colors... and I came up with this texture. I thought it looked pretty cool, so I slapped it onto a rock, rendred it real quick-like, and pasted it up here for all you super-duper artisans to look at and go 'huh huh, dork'. My problem is that I have NO IDEA what to use it on. I mean, I have to use it on something, right? Otherwhise, I just wasted an hour of my life (wouldn't be the first time, right Gracie? ;p). Any ideas? Suggestions? Want it? Need it? Just want to look at it & drool like my girlfriend? Any comments would be appreciated. That means SAY SOMETHING! NOW! please? :o) ps. forgive me my fingers... they know not what they do...

Neat! Kinda looks like a salty sea texture... Better than anything I've ever done in the DTE!!!

Does the blue go all the way through (hey! that rhymed!)? Anyway, you could use it for some kind of funky explosion if the grey parts are transparent. I like it, hey Mikey! Tankred

Ok, I'll try this again... first post didn't seem to work. I took the texture, transparenstatizeded the grey parts, and slapped it on a couple of shapes. I varied the colors and the amount of transparency (the vase has 0%, the ball has 20%), and plopped 'em up here for you (and anyone else who likes them) to take a gander at. :) If anyone wants this texture (or the first one, I've saved them both) just give me a holler or post it here & i'll put it up in the bryce free stuffses... Happy renderings peeps! hehe :P

Yeah, put 'em in Free Stuff--way cool! :P I don't know what to use it on either, but if it's truly cool, who cares? As for the transparent ones, I think they look like they could be used to make some interesting foliage effects.

They might make good foilage textures. Put them in free stuff and I'll try them out for that.
