Wasn't sure which forum this would be appropriate to post so I will put myself at the mercy of the mods and post here knowing they will kindly and without backlash, put it in the correct forum or leave it be. :)My new badly designed website, www.garicstarr.com ,for my upcoming Poser 6/Vue 5i animation project, is now up and running. yes i know that poser 6 and 5i are not compatible right now. Put I am in preproduction mode and have full faith that once I have all my models created and animated, they will have seamless intergration (please, please please!!)
I would love some comments or help on the website itself. I am useless at webdesign but did the best i could with the tools i have.
My animation project will be a sci-fi based tale on an original story molded an old Star Wars fanfic. It's no longer SW related but the basic story structure will be intact. The script is finalized and storyboards are completed.
I can't wait to get this going and as I peice together my machine, pool the resources for software and start the project with all of you stopping by to watch, share and advise!
Thanks everyone!

I kinda quite like the atmosphere on the site... I was almost expecting the credits to fade in after reaching "Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away..." The red on black reading disagrees with my bad eyesight - reached for the magnifying glass, and it was still a bit irksome. Certainly a sense of intrigue in your ideas. "Truth or Consequences" is a title I love!

Is it only the red on black? I was trying to change up the color for every story. Thanks for the help. I am underwhelmed by my site but then again I'm not a web designer. Any help is appreciated

To be honest, I'm not sure just how much of an exception me and my eyesight is to the norm. But certainly from what I see already on your site it is just red on black which creates problems for me. Having said that - it's a bit difficult to explain but - the red/black reminds me of a more generic difficulty that I personally have with a lot of high contrast pages. I used to download stuff from (for example) an old rocketdownload site which had a horrible 'sickly' green background (not sure if it exists anymore) but I invariably had to stop browsing because it really did create a very annoying irritation for me as well as my not being able to read the site.

I'm going change that story's color to a grey or something less vivid. Give me a day or two and It will be fixed. :)

Just had a quick look - the pages seems narrower and for me lose a bit of the atmosphere - subtle compliment to your Posters maybe, but the red/black (Smuggler's Blues) colour doesn't seem to have changed?
