Do a search for "3d cafe free models", then go to their free models and check out the "plants and trees" section. There are lots of underwater plants in various formats. I find 3DS format the best and easiest to import directly into poser. Then just save it as a prop.

The Lord kelps those who kelp themselves. Sorry, had to say it. 3dPlants.com still has a nice selection of aquatic plants free, plus an even better selection of foliage on nicely-priced CD's.

Here's the cheapskate solution: Draw yourself a few variations of kelp in Photoshop or PSP, map it to the Poser One Sided Square, create a transmap, stick the resulting props in your scene. All it will take you is a little bit of time and you have to admit, the price is right.
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.

I have no idea how to add a transmap in poser.. I've made a few of my own.. but.. I can't for the life of me find away to apply them to a modal.
