There is no doubt that this is a fine lens along with the Sigma 105mm which I once owned and the Canon 100mm which I replaced it with there is not much to seperate them optically the Canon is faster and has the edge but at quite a bit more money.. Yes the lens will work fine as a Canon fit on your Film camera

Thanks for your answer. At the Tamron Website they write that this lens is available for digital cameras and I was not sure if it will work with my normal analog camera. On the website they write that it will be now problem, but they still haven't answered my email. But if it will work fine with my Canon as you said I will buy it soon :)

Hello Everybody. I am planing to buy the objective 'Tamron SP AF 90mm F/2.8'. If somebody has this objective it would be nice if he or sh could answer the following questions: - is the objective worth the money i will have to pay (approx. 410 Euro)? - can I use the objective with my Canon EOS600? (I've ask this question to Tamron also, but I'm still waiting for the answer) I hope my english is not so bad. Greets from Germany
