I always see all the great work in the gallery and always wanted to know how people were getting the hair to look realistic. I need some tips on how this is done, and what the easiest way for a beginner to do them would be. My renders hair always turns out like plastic. I want it to look like seperate strands and...

heyas; a lot of hair is retouched or completely painted on in a 2d art program after the render is done. there's a list of hair tutorials at the above link. also if it isnt there, visit www.earthcurves.com; he does some great clothing and hair painting.
