That's got to hurt.

P6 Kate hands. I was creating a body morph for her when I tried to test her posed, I noticed this. JP's are really screwed. Mind her complete JP's are not very good.

Did anyone really beta test these figures? There seems to be to much missed. I have the update installed.

So, Can some kind soul confirm this problem as to not just me. Please.

:( She needs some plastic surgery, poor thing. She's the same way with my version. It's not just you.

Ben, at a quick look, doesn't look as bad.

Those, at least, can be fixed with minimal effort. Have you noticed that the P6 figures' hands use propagatingScale, just like the newest DAZ figures?

I could use a clue as to how to fix it with a minimal effort. Nothing, for me, is easy in the 3d world.

Hmm, this looks oddly familiar. LOL...I have this problem with Jessi too, her foot on my last one was so goofy, I moved it, to hide it. It just was turned weird and no matter what I did, it twisted worse. You are not alone.

Bummer. Now we have to adjust bend zones for both the hands AND feet. But maybe those vatos locos will fix it in SR1. Although I notice they fixed the memory problem in the OS X version, but not in the XP version.

Little_Dragon posted Thu, 14 April 2005 at 10:50 PM

Well ... minimal effort for those of us comfortable with the joint editor, anyway. Tedious work, of course (30 parts x 3 axes), but it mostly comes down to shifting the joint centers and falloff zones. Fairly easy to do with the aid of the orthagraphic and hand cameras.

Jessi's knees, however, need some real attention. Even Furraldo's knees deform better than that.

Thanks, good to know. I'll bit my tongue. Very disappointed though to say the least.

Can I get a refund on these "figures"?

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

"Although I notice they fixed the memory problem in the OS X version, but not in the XP version." Fixed WHAT problem? As far as I know, there's been no problem in OSX. The only memory probs seem isolated to PC. Of course, there are some issues, but nothing specific to OSX. Please update me if i'm out of the loop.

Oh, BTW, Jessi's joint params are simply awful when it comes to symmetry. Try scaling one leg, and then using symmetry to make the other leg identical. Oi. Maybe e Frontier needs to do with Poser what Eidos is doing with Tomb Raider. I love Poser, but I seriously wonder exactly how they pick their mercha...er, beta testers.

I read somewhere (more than once) that they are aware of the finger and toe joint problems and they will be fixed in the 1st SR.
