I have been trying to work with the room, I am determined to not give up, the problem I seem to be coming up with is when I import a picture the top part of the geometry is off the image (top green dot) How can I fix it so when the imported picture has all the green dots? Also whats the best size picture to use when importing it into the face room?

If you get face room pictures with poser 6, try and make the pictures you use as close to the same proportions as these ones as possible (using a paint program). The bigger picture that you can use the better.

the problem i am having is I can't see the top green dot only the right and left top dots, what size works cause I tried 525 x 525 the same size it tells me to convert it to when i apply it to the figure. Are you saying the picture should basically take up the whole pic with your face?

You don`t have to make the picture the size it says, you can make it bigger and it usually is better to use a bigger picture.
The first problem might be caused if the face does fit the whole picture, it should have a blank area around the head.
