My hard drive is kicking the bucket. I'm trying to get as much stuff off as I can and so far I got most of my Bryce stuff. It only works for about 10 minutes at a time. I found a great deal at Dell but I got the confirmation e-mail and it said the drive will ship May 4. That is unacceptable. I also ordered more ram from newegg.com and that will probably arrive in the next couple days. I can't wait until Dell's costumer care center opens. That will be fun. I didn't pay for next-day shipping to get it two weeks from now.

No! not good! Call them again immediately if not sooner and demand to have your next day shipping orders respected or you'll no longer will be doing business with them! Demand, yes, demand next day shipping! ask them if they will reimburse you for personal business lost due to their inefficiency to supply your demand! Heavens forbid they should get inundated with bad hard drives. However will they keep up with the demands?

god Tobin i'm sorry to hear this. I just wished i lived close by cause i have a small 40gig hard drive sitting here in an old computer which only gets used for some games the girlfriend and her son play. Do what quest suggested, also ask them will the reimburse you for the $1000s of dollars in work you have on that hard-drive if you can't get it transfered to another one...i bet they ship one of the minute you ask that ;) goodluck mate hope you get everything off you want in time. CD (Keeping my fingers crossed)

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.
